Prayer Shawl

The Prayer Shawl ministry had its humble beginnings in 2006 when a few women gathered to make prayer scarves for orphans in the Ukraine. As the ministry grew in members and talents, they began to knit and crochet prayer shawls. All of the scarves and shawls are prayed over as they are being made. Then, they are taken before the church and prayed over by the church body before they are given to a recipient. The Prayer Shawl ministry meets every fourth Tuesday night in the Prayer Shawl ministry room, upstairs in the Admin. Building.

God has blessed this ministry with such great skills and talents in which to serve Him. By being obedient to God and sacrificing personal time, the Prayer Shawl ministry continues to bless others with creations knitted by hands of love guided by the Holy Spirit. The ultimate goal of this ministry is that the recipient of one of these scarves or shawls will feel the prayers, the warmth, and the love that comes from our gracious and loving heavenly Father.
