JAMES RICHARD ROGERS III (Trey) 

Associate Pastor of Youth & Children
 
Pastor Trey Rogers comes to us from the mountains of Western North Carolina, where faith and ministry were woven into the fabric of his life at an early age. Reared up in a family of preachers, Trey is a fourth-generation minister who overwhelmingly sensed God’s call to preach at age 14. He was Licensed to Preach in 2011, and later Ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 2016, after years of faithful ministry, evangelism, and pulpit supply.
 
Trey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Young Harris College. He met his lovely wife, Julianna, a Raleigh native, while in school; they married in 2018. “Mrs. Juli,” as she is affectionately known, is currently serving as a 3rd grade teacher at D.F. Walker Elementary School. Together, they share a genuine love for the Lord, Rocky Hock, and the surrounding community that they are proud to call home.
 
Over the past 15 years, Pastor Trey has served in a variety of roles — including pastoral ministry, youth and children’s ministry, and music ministry. He currently serves as our Associate Pastor of Youth and Children, where God has blessed us with many student salvations and baptisms, and an overall strengthened culture of discipleship, and love for God’s Word.
 
 

LINDA BUNCH

Linda joined the staff as Administrative Assistant at RHBC in 2007.  She grew up in Perquimans County, but has lived in Rocky Hock for nearly 3 decades.  She is known as “Stanley’s wife,” “Joseph’s mom,” and “the secretary of Rocky Hock Baptist Church,” all titles which she is happy to claim!  Linda sees her work as not just a job, but also a calling, and is pleased to be a small part of this community of faith.  

 

DEBORAH LONG

Deborah has worked at Rocky Hock Baptist Church for 9 years, first as part-time custodian, and now as full-time custodian.  She has lived in Rocky Hock most of her life and has been a member of the church since she was 12 years old.  She loves this church and this community.
